what do y'all like with your bloody mary? i've got the standard olives (pimento, garlic, and jalapeno), celery, and carrots.

<--- making a bloody mary spread for weekend-long beach party

Sliver of bell pepper hanging aside the chimney glass, lemon juice, ice and a shake of salt. Tequila Marys are good too. Mr and Mrs. T's Bloody Mary Mix is good.

A nice breakfast drink is a Ramos Fizz, 1/3 Orange Juice, 1/3 half and half, 1/3 gin, ice and a little powdered sugar mixed in a blender. Add orange flower water for scent if wanted. These are real nice with eggs benedict for weekend breakfast.

Never, Tomato beers look like urine and that time of the month.

The beer comes AFTER the Bloody Mary. Sheesh, try telling the Poles in the mid-west that, tomato juice and beer is a girly drink. Call me when you come to. :)

Thank you for the clarification. I've seen people drinking tomato beers in bars and I freak out.

Pickled string bean
Pickled okra
Pickled onion
Various olives
Boiled shrimp
Pepperoni

There's a bar in downtown Orlando that has bloody mary buffet brunch on Sundays. Pay for a bloody mary, get a glass full of ice and your choice of vodka. Take it up to a buffet they have set up with all kinds of tomato juice mixers, hot sauces and garnishes. Every bloody mary you get they knock a few cents off the price and give you a bit more vodka. It's a lot of fun. After going there, I was really surprised no NOLA bars/restaurants picked up on it (that I know of).

I once had what amounted to a very large Tequila-bloody with a bunch of chilled jumbo shrimp submerged in it in a mexican restaurant ... it was damn good too!

I love... Good dill pickle spear, banana pepper, boiled, chilled shirmp, one green olive, one black olive a green onion and an anchovie!
YUM! You have a meal in a glass! The saltiness improves the overall flavor and spiciness of the drink

Lot of good ideas here already, but I would add pepperonccinis (I like em better than bananna peppers), cocktail onions, a choice of hot sauces

I keep it simple.

Celery Salt
Pickle
Celery Stick
Black Pepper

Then your standard mix. I like it spicy, not hot.

I have found the secret is rimming the glass properly.
I like to mix salt, garlic powder, pepper, paprika (for a smoky flavor) and celery salt. If you want more heat, red pepper powder!
Instead of wetting the rim with water, use a lime or lemon wedge. More flavor!

I think he was talking about a beer chaser, which is after the bloody mary because they don't it. But a bloody mary beer is amazing.

Bloody Mary Mix
Cheap Beer
Ice
Pepper and whatever else you want to spice it up

Its the perfect "I'm going to be tailgating for 10 hours" drink.

Jalepeno stuffed olives, dill pickle to stir and homemade celery salt on the rim.

Perfect.
