Blood Omen 2... BUGGED LIKE HELL!!!

I have a 1Ghz AMD Duron, 256MB SDRAM, GF2MX 400 and im running WinXP. I have installed the latest WinXP drivers for everything and i even reinstalled DirectX 8.1. But the game still gives me serious problems. Many times it throws me back to the desktop without any warning and also it froze on me one time too. Also its intro movies play VERY slow (like a slide show) and its sound is chopping up like crazy. I am really dissapointed because its a really good game and its a shame for it to have so many bugs. And note that this is the ONLY game with which i have problems. All my other games work perfectly.

So what do you think? Is it a deffective copy?
 
Did you ask about the movies before? If not, check the second or third pages in this forum for another thread on that.
 
I was the one who made the thread about the movies of Blood Omen 2 but i got no response. Now i got even more problems appearing in the game... and i would really appreciate some HELP...
 
Well, try the "board for suckers who buy playstation ports." Sorry. 😉 But I doubt anyone is going to be able to help you since the game doesn't seem that popular. None of the reviews I've read have mentioned problems like this. Your videocard is probably a little light weight for the duty, but heck, it should be able to play the movies.
