Blondie vs Talking Heads

This forum is FAAAAAAAR to strict anyway. I understand having rules and all. But there are some things that are completely 100% ok, that are somewhat questionable, while other things of similar severity are 100% bannable offenses.

The hypocrisy here is astounding. My spelling problem is too.

I understand your point. But why is every thread where we attempt to talk about certain issues getting locked? Obviously the community wants to talk about it. Its not hurting/offending anyone by talking about it (except the mods) and by them locking the threads they are forcing either A. The creation of new similar threads or B. This.


If they want to contain the issue leave the original thread alone. Geeeez.

Do you honestly think that your opinion matters here? I am not trying to be a jerk man but these are private forums. Crap happens that you don't agree with and you just deal with it. There is no point starting a problem that you know will result in more drama, just let it go man.

They are both excellent original punk/new wave ? bands from the early 80s. Or at least I think so.

I love them both, but the poll is just for fun. Talking Heads were around longer, more prolific, even wittier, although Blondie was pretty witty too.

Blondies best songs have a great techno-punk sound, as do Talking Heads.

now, who would match up with Flock of Seagulls ? My memory isn't that great..
 
Blondie, without a doubt. Hell she came out with a new album a few years ago. she still can rock it.

I like all of those, but Blondie, the group, is more akin to the Pretenders or the Clash, than those main stream rockers.

btw, I think Heart was one of the best rock bands ever, forget for a second they are beautiful women, I know, that's impossible 😉, they rocked as hard or harder than Aerosmith, Boston, etc. Nancy Wilson is one of my favorite guitar players.
