Say i rented a game on 6/3 and i went to return it today before 12pm, would i be charged a late fee?

rented GodofWar and just returned it today. My store has the sign NO LATE FEES but i think thats not forever...i thought it was only if ur late 1 week. The box said something like game rental periods are 6days.

yeah they try to pretend that you have to buy it after a week; they send you a bill for the price of the movie/game. but really if it's back within a month you just have to pay the restock fee.
They may charge your card any way and then when you bring it back they credit you back. they did that to my gf and OD'd her account. so watch out.

If I'm reading your post right, your game is one day "late" as in, more than 7 days beyond the due date. All this means is that they have charged you the full price of the game, and when you bring it back, they will refund you that price minus a $1.25 restocking fee. So basically, you have a $1.25 late charge.
