blockbuster online charge on my dad's credit card

My dad never signed up for it and he doesn't even have a blockbuster account. He's 70 and doesn't even know how to use computers. Blockbuster mailed him 3 movies a month ago and we assumed it was just a promotional offer or something and didn't think too much of it. But when he checked his credit card bill today, there's a charge from Blockbuster Online. Should he call the credit card company or bb online to dispute this?

Did he sign up for anything recently that may be attached to BB? Sometimes promotions will make requirements enrolling you into trial programs that are free for a certain amount of time and then you have to cancel or be charged.

It wouldn't hurt to pull his credit report and see if there may be a case of identity theft.

Did he go to blockbuster lately at all? If he did and got some movies, they might have thrown a thing at him about how these could be free or something if he was a member of that. I don't know how it works so don't challenge the details, but it's one possibility I can think of.
