Went in to pick up Christmas Outlaw Golf and noticed that the BUY 2 GET 1 FREE previously rented signs were back up. It covers games and movies.

Many were marked down to $9.99 for the previous sale so you can now get 3 DVD's for $20.

Also, decent game selection. I picked up GAMECUBE: Sonic, Luigi, and Smash Brothers for $40! 20/20/FREE

Are there stickers on the GCN games? Did you get the original case with manuals?

YMMV... Sonic is like new with the manual! Smash Brothers is like new but no manual. Luigi looked like someone sanded a shelf with it... and then drove over it a few times... and then let a two year old play with it for a week... and it didn't have the manual either. I'll no doubt bring that one back after I play it.

You can always ask them for the manuals and other whatnots... I always ask the peeps that work there for booklets and manuals.

Still on in Tulsa, OK as of 12.07.02

Just looked today. Unfortunately, they didn't mark the DVDs down to $9.99 from the previous sale :( If they had, it would've been smokin'. Also, it looks like the Christmas peeps are startin' to pick through stuf finally.

Franchises don't always participate in national promotions. The BBVs around here aren't...

Went to my local BB today to check it out. I talked to the manager, and he said the promotion will be on until the end of December. These sales are always popping up, and as usual, YMMV

The Blockbusters here in Lancaster, PA are in on this deal. I got Panic Room, Insomnia, and (against my better judgement but the missus insisted) Dragonfly for ~$10 each (were $14.99).

I went to my local BB and got in on this deal on 12-08. Not only that, but they also added an additional discount on the three movies I bought:

A Beautiful Mind -> 6.99
Gosford Park -> 6.99
The Royal Tenenbaums -> 9.99

Total w/tax -> 18.13! :D

SpongeBobPalmBay,

Yes. Always ask for the manuals. At my local BB they put the manuals and inserts in a drawer when they are "prepped for the shelf". You do not get the manuals when you rent, the basic control instructions are printed on the rental case.

Went to one Blockbuster last night and saw Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4(XBOX), Starfox Adventures, and Animal Crossing in the preowned section for $34.99

The Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 was a mistake as they could not find the disc in their disc binder and the computer says that it should not be available preowned. This store did it different than others I have seen. They have the original case on the shelf, but it is empty. They then had a binder that held all the game discs separated by console. The guy said the manuals were somewhere in the back.

I didn't get Starfox Adventures or Animal Crossing because the guy didn't really want to go look for the manuals in the back. I may try again today and hope someone else is working.

I saw Animal Crossing in multiple stores yesterday, but Starfox Adventures and THPS4 were only in one.

Wow, I want Starfox Adventures.

Just so everyone knows, BB has started a price match policy (have you noticed the signs???). They seem to have very litttle direction as to the rules for how they apply it. I was offered a PM for a new item when I told them the price of a used one. I will be exploring this further!!!!

The Others (2 dvd)
Royal Tenebaums Criterion Collection (2 dvd) (BRAND NEW)
A.I (2 dvd)
Oceans 11 (was very very scratched up and skipped when i played it, so i'm bringing it back, they said it was no problem

Did this yesterday for 3 PS2 games. I combined it with their Free $5 giftcard when you buy $50 of giftcards deal. Bought the cards then turned around and paid for the games with them. Thankfully, the store was empty and the clerk was very helpful about doing the multiple transactions.

So I saved $25 ($5 free and the $20 cheapest game). 30% off or so, over and above the used price savings.

Sweet deal - tried it two days ago - got 3 DVDs for 21.00. Last month, I bought two 50. gc and then used them + the free $10 for DVD purchases...the woman looked at me a little weird, but 10 bucks is 10 bucks (and I was spending that money anyway - got ~ 14 DVDs that day!! now all i need it time to watch them.... :(

Pick three games, you pay for the two highest priced games.
