Is this possible? Even if its somthing thats easy to re-enable if your're logged into the account.

Windows XP - WLAN Adapter, NOT Wired

go into the control network panel and disable the network connection. you can drag the icon to the desktop and enable/disable at will is the easiest method i know of.
 
Yeah, That'd work disable in admin can be re-enabled in limited, but I wouldn't be able to use remote desktop to that PC when I'm out.
 
Are proxy settings "per user"? I don't remember. Either way, you can set a non-existant proxy and disable it while you are logged on.
