Block Locked Topics

Googer

Lifer
I have noticed that a lot of locked topics in technical forums exist and take up a lot of screen space. How about an option to block them from view in the forum listings so that I can only browse unlocked topics?

There isn't an option I know of that is capable of blocking/filtering out a "sea of locked threads."

That's why this thread has been posted in the "SUGGESTION BOX"

In the old forum i was using a Greasemonkey script that blocked stickied threads. I would assume that the same could be done with locked threads?

See this thread... maybe someone could write one up for you.

edit- this is assuming you're using FF

It wouldn't be hard for Jason Clark to implement a very, very, very simple script that prevents them from loading.

They have a specific icon, so I can probably write a grease monkey script to filter them. I will add it to the list.
