BlizzCon 2013

Anyone buy tickets they don't need?? I joined the queue seconds after the page went live and didn't make it half way through before the tickets sold out. How do people know what to script before the page is even live? It must be the same every year or something?

I thought about buying them to to resell on ebay but I decided the money and would be better spent on hookers and blow.

I thought about going again, but it's about $1000 all considered. BlizzCon was fun but probably not worth it if you're not going to do something like meet guildmates.

I actually was planning on going this time since I live close to Blizzcon now.

But then D3 happened.

So I'm not going to go to a Con when I hate one game, dislike another, and moderately like the third.

I think the biggest thing for us (wife and I) is the likely announcement of Titan. Even if that doesn't happen, we like most of their games - including D3 😛

If I had to bet, I think that they will announce either:

Titan would be a loose "maybe" for me, but it's possible.

They will not announce it fully, however it has been stated somewhere they will release plenty of possible new details about the game, and when a possible time frame will be to announce it fully.

And some of the rumors I am hearing about Titan.... Makes me want to play it. Just saying

I have been to two in the past and always bought the limit of tickets which is 5. Sold 3 of them for more than twice what I paid. Also kept the goodie bag and sold those as well!

I don't know how people feel okay with themselves for doing shit like that. I hate scalpers.

I am glad I went 3 years ago...not sure i'd go again though. I would rather go to a much larger gaming con with more dev's.

I'd really like Comic-Con to be the next big convention that I go to... or maybe Dragon-Con since I live about four hours from Atlanta, and that wouldn't require the moderately expensive flight (~$400-500).

Ooo... it looks like Atlanta has another interesting convention, and for this year, it's right after my birthday... a perfect gift!

You realize that there are laws in place for scalping other events, how does this make it any different? People like you are shit-tier. Enjoy the event, I guess. I couldn't fathom being proud of myself for swindling other honest people out of a chance to go to something they enjoy simply to make a quick grand.....are you that broke?

differing morals, I guess. If I see someone rob a store I don't rob the store as well just because I saw someone else benefit from it.

Blizzard is not what they used to be. I'm surprised there is still so much demand after diablo 3 showed this.

I sort of expected there to be more interest in Blizzcon this year because of that.

All the hit squads showing up to take out the Diablo 3 developers 😀
