hmm... am I the only one having major issues with the stream? it just froze for about a minute, came back with only audio, then froze again. It's not my end - I'm on a 20 mbit connection :'(

i wish i wasn't so hyped up about this. I'm freaking out over games - LOL!

Coming smooth as silk for me. Audio and video have been uninterrupted. Right now it's just Mike Morhaime talking about random stuff (going over what's happened in the past year, thanking europe, etc.)

DIABLO 3 ANNOUNCED!!!

Wow, that was an epic trailer.

THAT WAS EPIC!!!!! wwooowww.... Blizzard officially fucked over my life now. This is the strongest crack ever made.

They're showing gameplay now, full 3d graphics. Barbarian returns. Looks like there's going to be a decent physics engine behind it. Quick skill bar like in WoW
Health drops in blobs. 3d environments. So far very varied monster abilities and mechanics

The only two things I need to know is: 1.) does it look like Diablo (as in does it look like it maintains the gameplay feel, not graphics), 2.) any mention of release dates or anything?

It looks a lot like Diablo but prettier and some WoW-ish hotbar stuff (that I'd prefer anyway).

still early in the presentation... but yes it looks to have the same "Diablo Mentality" that made the other games so fun

No "meta" information about the game, only gameplay details. It looks like diablo but there's much more varied combat so I think gameplay will be more interesting/complex. It still looks pretty fast paced with lots of monsters though. So far some really awesome animations and effects

A new class mentioned, the Witch Doctor.

EDIT:

Kind of reminds me of a Warlock in WoW, except not demonic. Uses pets and can cause them to explode. Uses diseases and a mass fear spell. Also controls fire.

Starcraft II was announced wasn't it? They have a link to it on the Blizzard.com page. Or was it announced awhile ago? I get confused between the rumored announcements and the real ones.
