Hey guys,

I think I'm going to write a paper about bnetd, Blizzard, and the ways in which it has affected the game industry/community. Do you guys have any suggestions as to where I might look, articles I should read, people I should/can talk to within the next day or two, or anything like that? It doesn't have to all be about bnetd specifically; if it's more general but along the same lines, that's great too.

Thanks for any help.
 
The SC origami thing was...well, astonishing. I e-mailed XG3, we'll see what he says.

Anywhere else I should look? Bnetd forums, manifestos, declarations of rights, etc?

I'm not quite exactly sure on what you mean by "bnetd, Blizzard, and the ways in which it has affected the game industry/community". In what "ways" are you particularly looking at?

Who knows, maybe you can e-mail blizzard and they might respond about the bnetd. If I remember correctly, they had a quick response about it before.

Yep I'm still playing it even now. I'd have to say this game is the one game I've played most in my lifetime. Even passed up Phantasy Star 1 which I spent over a year on 🙂
