Exactly my thoughts. 4600 employees. Good God. That is huge. I used to wonder what Blizz did wiht all the revenue they generated from WOW. Now i know. And also, it makes the Diablo 3 "late release" even more ridiculous.
The more I think about it, that actually makes sense. Too many fingers in the pie with no clear direction can really fuck up a project... which I think is what happened with D3. I see it every day at work. Just because you have a ton of people, doesn't mean you're going to get good, efficient team work out of them.
