Blizzard Inbound! (attention Michiganders!)

Hey, I don't know how many of you have been watching the weather, but if you're in lower Michigan, you better watch out. You've got a nice little blizzard coming your way. Was talking with a friend of mine out of Chicago and they're getting total whiteout conditions right now. Just FYI.

Actually, this blizzard will be kinda cool. Especially if it gives me a day off from work. 😀

Also attention Ontario people...they're calling for 15-25cm (6-10 inches). Snowin fairly hard right now

I'm in iowa, 3 hours west of chicago, and we got that crap dumped on us within the past few hours. Not sure if it's still snowing out, it's dark and I don't feel like going out to check. 😛

I'm just north of Chicago (Lake Zurich) and we're getting it pretty bad. Driving is the worst I've ever seen it. I tried to get into the parking lot at my school to see my girlfriend's Jazz Band performance... but my mighty RWD Ford Crown Vic couldn't get up the damned hill to the parking lot! 😛 I tried a good 10 minutes before I realized it was futile and came home. I need to throw some bags of sand in my trunk...

I'm by Grand Haven and the snow doesn't seem very intense to me...

This happens every single time. An end-of-the-world blizzard is predicted, and I get a light dusting. I probably won't even have to brush off my car tomorrow.

what...you guys exempt from lake effect???

it's currently snowing here in Wisconsin and I hope to god we have a snow day tomarrow! (Refering to Highschool)

I'm also in Iowa, the Quad Cities to be slightly more exact. We've got about 5 or more inches of snow so far. Not a huge deal, but it makes getting around town more interesting and more fun at the same time. 🙂

I think we're supposed get around 8-12 inches before it's all said and done. Driving across the I-280 bridge over the Mississippi River on my way home from work was fun with near white-out conditions... But I was getting tired of missing every snow storm this year.
