Anyone know if Blizzard is a publicly traded company? The only Blizzard that comes up in symbol searches is Blizzard Energy Inc.

Yep, they are part of Vivendi's game division. Also includes Sierra interactive.

They own Blizzard and Sierra, but they also own the rights to alot of franchises developed by other companies and published by VUGames. Most notably the Half Life franchise because of their ownership of Sierra which in turns owns the legal rights to Half Life. This is why Valve is bitter and doesnt like VUGames.

Not after Freeman Day(August 31st).

PS You'd be a fool to buy VU's stock

Well VUGames and Sierra have already made over a hundred million off the backs of Valve.
