Blizzard Beach vs. Typhoon Lagoon

Trying to decide which to go to on our last day in Disney on our trip

If you want a bigger, more "beachy" park, with more slides and more sun, go to Blizzard Beach. If you want a somewhat more relaxed, shaded, loungy park, then go to Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard beach is my personal recommendation... it has that huge ass slide (Summit Plummet (sp)) which will give you a 24 hour wedgie.

2 yrs ago i stayed at the all stars resort(also stayed at the mardi gras and the dixie one) but when i tried to gto blizzard beach, they closed the park due to capacity, needless to say i got in the next day but it was PACKED. it had some awesome stuff, i love the water slide you can see from the parking lot that looks like it throws you off(hard to explain)

I went to Blizzard Beach... it was awesome... but cold when I went there, but still awesome. It kinda hurts (from the wedgie) when you're going down the slide so fast.

definetely blizzard beach. typhoon lagoon is not that cool.

Blizzard Beach is always uber crowded. Probably because they have the best slides of all the Disney parks.

Because of that, my wife and I always end up at Typhoon Lagoon. It's not quite as cool a park, but it is still loads of fun without all the lines, people, etc.

Will it be as busy during Labor Day weekend? People tell me this is generally a slow weekend

Whichever one has the worlds tallest waterslide (or was it tallest in the US?). That was scary. I kept thinking I'd be on the news after I fell 100ft to the ground below.

One of the parks has a tube that is total dark and you go down in an inner tube but you can't see anything. AWESOME!
