I remember the 2011 Chicago blizzard well. Never really heard the wind coming off the lake howling through the city like that before or since.

Looks like the city proper got about 5in maybe a little more. Heavier out at ORD 7-8in. Things are slowed but overall functional, highways appear to be the worst of it. City transit looks pretty much fine. Suburban a bit hairier as they got hit harder.

City had all the plows out by the time it switched over from rain to snow.

looks like we are getting the rain end of that system.

My flight that was supposed to be this morning to Chicago was cancelled. Trying for one later tonight.... Hopefully they all get cancelled and I don't have to go this week
