blind date...what to say on the phone

my friend at work is getting me the phone number of a girl he knows and he claims she's drop dead gorgeous and has a twisted sense of humor like me. She's 21...i'm 19...and he says she only dates white guys (she's black). I have no problem with that...but if i talked about the stuff i talk about with my guy friends, then i'm guaranteed to be shut down.

Any pointers?

Why would she shut you down if you talk to her about your normal stuff? Women want a guy to be confident, don't act like you are embarassed about what you are saying. Be yourself, otherwise she'll see right through you and shut you down for leading her on.
