With the original 4-sided jar:

Or save $20 by going refurbished: (with full 7-year warranty)

The new 5th-side jar costs $99 by itself: (apparently the older one had some tunneling issues around the blade, based off Slickdeals comments)

I've had my Blendtec for a good 6 years without a hiccup, it's a beast. Highly recommend it. This is equivalent to a Vitamix blender. I like it better because there's no plunger to deal with and because the 4-sided jar makes it easy to pour & clean. It's expensive, but if you never want to deal with blender problems again, it's totally worth it. Gets a gold star from me
