That list is annoying, but it's meant to be. The ten "worst" were Jefferson Starship - We Built This City, Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart, Wang Chung - Everybody Have Fun Tonight, Limp Bizkit - Rollin', Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby, Huey Lewis and the News - The Heart of Rock & Roll, Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry, Be Happy, Eddie Murphy - Party All The Time, Madonna - American Life and Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder - Ebony and Ivory.

Other songs were The Doors - The End, Aqua - Barbie Girl, The Beatles - Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, Simon & Garfunkel - The Sounds of Silence...

It's such a shallow bid for controversy that I don't even want to dispute it -- the one thing I will say is that I lost a little bit of respect for VH1 after I saw that they're making a special based on this list. Meh.

OMG!! They are attacking the classics too. Those shouldn't come anywhere near this list. The list sucks major balls just like that VH1 list of best song in the last 25yrs. I am so glad I did not subscribe to Blender (even for free).

Yeah, the inconsistency of the list is pretty bad too. They disqualify the Macarena and Who Let The Dogs Out because they're intentionally cheesy or humorous, but include I'm Too Sexy and Barbie Girl. I would argue that either of those two songs are intended to be more of a humorous novelty than the Macarena, heh.

And even if you hate Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (which I did for a long time), it doesn't belong on this list ;P

Oh, and on their worst artist list last year, they had The Doors and Mick Jagger, heh. Apparently they have a hate on the Doors.

That song is not good but by far not the worst either. Ranking up there with pure crap of all time is that song by Khia where she rapped "just like that my neck, my back lick my... just like that my neck, my back lick my..." Those who never heard it trust me some of you don't want to know the rest of what she wants licked!

Outkast is just overhyped tripe pushed on the buying public by the Record Companies.

LOL - I love ya, RD, but you are just too old, or too ornery, for Outkast. They are one of the most gifted, innovative bands in the world. God know the radio is clogged with crappy music that really is being forced on us (think of Linkin Park and all the other randomly-screaming bands), but Outkast ain't that.

Look who they are competing against...50 cent, Ja Rule...Good lord. I used to listen to rap alot in high school, but what they play on the radio today is not even rap. All it is is a bunch of people shouting, talking or singing off key while some diddy that the Neptunes recorded reverbs in the background. They have expanded amateur night to the airwaves it seems.

This is probably more of a list of "Songs we are now afraid to admit we liked" rather than worst song ever. I could think of thousands of songs by high school garage bands that weren't ever played on air for a good reason.
