Blender Magazines worst song of all time

*ahem* Vanilla Ice? Milli Vanilli? "We Built This City" is far from great, but it's nowhere near worst of alltime. Every Britney Spears & boy-band song is far worse.

Every once in a while some magazine nobody has heard of has to come out with ratings on songs that nobody listens to anymore, in an attempt to get some attention.

In this case there are thousands of songs worse than that one. The song itself is not bad at all It's typical 80's and there were countless songs worse.

I give Blender a 0/5.

I think "Tipsy" needs to be rated the worst of all time. I think any Joe off the street can perform that song. Just listen to it. It's J-Krap.
 
I think you guys are actually giving the song too much credit - IMO is really is a dreadful song, and suffers from the same soullessness that permeates all Starship (and most Jefferson Starship) music. IMO a lot of Jefferson Airplane is pretty good, actually, but Starship were terrible. That said, I don't know that I would have called it the worst song of all time.

Outkast are at least 100 times better than Starship!

whats wrong with Outkast? They're one of the best things going for rap/hip hop.....all of their stuff is unique from everything else out there, and good as well.

I never liked Starship's song but Achy Breaky Heart is true garbage. At least Starship doesn't make me want to jab a pen in my ears.

Outkast are true innovators - they are like a modern Sly and the Family Stone or Parliament IMO. Starship were never anything other than overproduced pablum.

Skoorb, I saw in an old post that you're a Big Wreck fan. Have you heard Ian Thornley's new band, Thornley? I saw them live a few weeks ago, and got to meet him and chat a while. The new stuff is awesome!
