Blender cover for sound deadening?

Anyone know of a good Vitamix blender cover that they've used? I'm considering just making one too. Shouldn't be too hard to buy some materials and glue them together to make a decent cover to keep the sound in. (Maybe I'll make some venting ports too) I don't usually make more than one smoothie at a time but it can take a couple minutes.

Would have to make a little gasket port at the top so the plunger could still be used but still block some sound.

A cardboard box. If you're worried about ventilation, get a bigger one.

Pros: it's free, it has other uses.
Cons: it looks like a cardboard box.

Can't be louder than the Blendtec. That thing drowns out all conversation within 15 feet while it's going off.

Build your own hushbox? Personally I depend on the change in pitch to determine readiness.

The sound comes from the loud ass motor that's spinning at 1000's of RPMs. Unless you are crushing rocks inside that thing, no kind of "cover" is going to keep the sound "in". You'd have to literally put the whole thing in a sound proof box to make it quiet.

No wonder you couldn't get a job.

I proposed a perfectly viable solution :colbert:

So that's what Jamba Juice uses.

No, I think Jamba Juice uses these: https://www.vitamix.com/Commercial/Products/Beverage-Blenders/The-Quiet-One

You can dampen it or morph it in a way to get it to be quieter. I've seen demos of them being used.
