Hi there guys,

I just bought a Dell 2405fpw monitor and I notice that there is some bleeding on the bottom right of the screen. Its a bit annoying but I was told this was a problem with most monitors to some degree.

SHould I send it back? Its not that bad but I've just started noticing it and there are no dead pixels. Whats the best thing to do?

THanks,
Henrico

bleeding? There shouldn't be any blood in your monitor at all!!!

I slay me!!!!!

i would check it somewhere else 1st.....see if your not getting some sort of interference.... then it becomes your personal preference.. do you want to live with t, or do you want one with no bleeding?

I think the backlight problems are overblown. Most LCDs I've seen have some bleed through to some extent.

My 2005fpw has a tiny bit, but it has to be a pitch black screen to see anyway, and I have no dead pixels. :) If you have no dead pixels and you don't notice the bleeding when doing anything w/a normal screen, I say keep it.

I would as well.

Even my ViewSonic VX910 had some bleeding.

I agreee with others, it was overblown and overstated..

I think it's totally messed up that their manufacturing can't correct this easily. Sad, probably a way to waste money.
