there is no substitute for a lamb Gyro !!!

That's what I had delivered tonight from a little hole in the wall place here in Wakefield and it was excellent.

yea, I went to a place once and they messed up my order too. I ordered a lamb / beef and they gave me a chicken instead...I thought it was egg or something..yuck!
 
Woo! A fellow Oregonian! GO DUCKS! Anyways, that's a great place to eat. Food is okay in my opinion (I'm not a big fan of Greek food), but the atmosphere is awesome! Dancing and plate breaking and belly dancers! I should head up there again some time. 😀
 
I agree, Chicken Gyros are not all that great.

BUT, there is a place here that makes Chicken Shwarmas (Lebanese food I think) and they are really good. You can get tabouli as one of the toppings for it.

But nothing touches a nice stick of lamb souvlaki hot off the grill.
