Okay, this should probably be on the Martha Stewart forums but I'm stumped. I've got this brand new 1MX Shirt from Express and every time that I wash it, the colar bleaches. What gives? I make sure that i don't wear my shirt before I shave and that I don't put my deoderant near the neck of the shirt (which is the only place where it bleaches.) Anyone ever have any similar problems to this, or am I just a freak of nature? hehe. 🙂 I'm opening myself up for that one.

Maybe your shirt was botched to being with. By bleaching, do you mean that the color is fading, or bleeding?

If you search the archives for 1mx, you will find this happens to a lot of people - apparently quality is not high. I bought 7 or 8 when they were on sale and washed them all once, but have only worn one once, so I haven't experienced a problem yet - other than wasting $100+ on shirts I never wear. Oh well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

BTW, did this come up because express is having a sale? Because I  Express sales, and would wanna know 🙂

i had the same fvcking problem. pissed me off. 4 of the shirts, all of them bleaching in the same place. round the collars etc. cheap pos.

take it back, you just paid 30$ for crap!

indeed
if the care label says you can wash it, and washing ruins the color, you can get your money back. lawsuits have been filed over this and the consumer (you) has won. you shouldnt have any problem getting a refund.

Yeop.. This is exactly the problem I've been having. 2 shirts already and they dis-color in the same place every fvking time. Just like rbloedow said, the color is just fading or even bleaching away. Must be just the material is really sensitive to moisture or somthing. Pity, I really like the material.

As far as sales goes, I usually catch wind early and I'll be sure to post on the hot deals forum. Thanks guys!
