Bleach

kinda OT: How is the series? It's real popular I know but popular doesn't always translate to goodness. Is it anything different/interesting or just run of the mill anime stuff?
 
Bleach and Naruto are both in the same category: Suckage.

The art for mainstream anime sucks ass now. The CG is terribly flat and the style is so kiddie.

It's awesome! It's very interesting and my personal favorite anime. It went back to the main story now and that means no more fillers! w00t
 
movie's been out in japan since dec 16 2006 i think...

when the subbers are gonna get around to translating it is anyone's guess. from what i've heard, they're waiting for the DVD release before subbing it.

it dosen't need to be good. they just need to entertain me for 40 minutes a week.
 
the filler for bleach just ended recently. im expecting it to be better from now on. just a headsup- dont watch/skip episodes 64-109 since they are all fillers and not worth the download

64 was a filler? I didn't know that. I thought it was 65-109.
 
You're calling 65-109 filler? The whole Bounto arc? At least it's an arc that tries to further develop the characters unlike Naruto's fillers which are just random 1-3 episodes mini stories that offer nothing at all to the viewer.

The Bounto Arc is a filler. Filler ends for both Naruto and Bleach and about time.

The Bounto Arc is a filler. Filler ends for both Naruto and Bleach and about time.

Yes, it's called a filler because it doesn't exist in the original story and the whole point of it is to delay the further production of the manga's animated form to allow the manga to gain a sizable distance. Hence why it's a filler regardless of how good you think the story is. We don't want another Rurouni Kenshin now do we?

Also, I hate how they're already changing the anime to include those three modified souls that were from the Bounto Arc. They should've been thrown into storage and forgotten.

Bleach is better than Naruto as well. Naruto just got horridly boring after awhile, even in the manga. Personally, I like One Piece better than both Bleach and Naruto when it comes to that genre. I find it much more enjoyable and it still has me reading/watching even though the manga is up to chapter 441. But no matter how much you nitpick, a Shounen anime is still just that... a Shounen anime.

64/65 i wasnt sure but you get the idea. and yes it was a filler. you can pretty much tell the storyline and everything else started sucking after the whole aizen thing happened. and yea it's too bad they included the modified souls =
anyway, the new episodes are looking good
 
I can't wait to hear Nell's voice with that huge lisp 😛. For some reason it keeps me amused while reading the manga.
