That's fairly standard with high res UW curved monitors.

Curved monitors in general tend to have edge glow issues, yours actually don't look as bad as I have seen on other similar monitors.

So I talked to Dell and sent them the photos I took with all the colors and they said that it will not be accepted to RMA since its not a defect.
I talked to the store I bought it from and they said I have 14 days (since the arrival of product) that I can choose whether to return it and get my money back or to get a replacement no questions asked.
Now, if I ask for a replacement from the store and get a worse monitor they wont give a third display and then the warranty goes to Dell and then I have to talk to Dell and take a risk that they will say the same thing on a worse monitor. So I guess its not worth the risk?

I'm extremely picky about stuff (though I haven't bought a new monitor in about 13 years), and I would be happy with that considering some of the IPS glow I've seen pictures of. Looking at some of your in-game shots, the blacks look a bit washed out so I would definitely lower the brightness and adjust the contrast. That might help a bit.

Since it's only barely visible in the corners, how often do you really notice it while gaming when you're focused on the action in the middle of the screen?

Its visible mainly in dark situations. But its not so bad.

I don't know... that looks like the one I had only a little bit worse. I took mine back and didn't gamble on another. Waiting until they have faster than 120hz and better image quality (this panel is criticized for the low calibrated contrast ratio).
