Blaster Worm? Please look

Was the blaster worm causing the computer to reboot constantly? Because in the last few hrs my computer has rebooted everytime i lock it and leave. I'm getting really agrivated.. so I started a full system scan and installed a removal for the blaster worm. Since the remval program i used it hasn't rebooted...But its only been an 1/2 hr since i did that...but I also have been getting locked up too... my computer automatically locks up out of know where then comes back after a few mins....could someone help me out if they know whats going on?

If you did a windows update back in june/july (forgot which month the original patch came out for something that allowed blaster to work, but was not explicitly for Blaster) your computer should not be vulnerable to Blaster 😕

EDIT: I think it was the July 16th update that if you used would stop Blaster from affecting you.
 
If I remember correctly blaster only shutdown/rebooted the computer with the "NT/Authority" dialog box, not like it happened out of the blue.

running XP...turn off auto reboot..Start>ControlPanel>System>Advanced>(Startup and Recovery)..click "Settings" uncheck under "System Failure" ..Automatic Restart..to get a normal BSOD with an error message..
 
I have no idea, as I'm an old newbie.

I have XP Pro, last week I got.

Security update..KB832483

Windows Blaster worm removal tool.. KB833330..for patched machines ms03-026 or
ms03-039.

I have a slow learning curve🙁. But I hope this is some help.
