So, who all had a pair of stone washed jeans? Come on... admit it now :p

What was this.. about late 80's or so?

I think I may have owned a pair or two..

But, if you were really in the "in crowd" you had holes tore in your stone washed jeans also

The holes in the jeans phase happened when I was in elementary school. My parents wouldnt let me put holes in my jeans, and they sure as hell wouldnt pay money for jeans with holes in them. I missed out :|

Actually, I have a pair of jeans with holes in them. I bought them two years ago...paid about $100 for them.

yes I had a pair, and a pair that was intentionally cut up all over for the rock star look. I saw a lady wearing a stone washed jacket the other day.

Yep, i had a few pairs.
Thing is, those jeans are back in style again....
Thankfully, i wore them the first time around and refuse to do so the second time they are "fashionable".

Please do not tell me they are back! Arrrgh..

Not sure I ever had a pair back in middle/high school.
Family was too poor to keep all us kids in new clothes.
Looking back I'm glad I missed out.

Thankfully the old cut that those jeans came in aren't back in style. The high waist and tapered legs looked like crap on everyone.

I just want to get one thing straight. I might have purchased those jeans two years ago on an impulse buy, and I may have worn them a few times as well.

But they have sat in my drawer for the last year and a half, and I wouldnt never be caught wearing them again.

"skinny jeans" are/were in style this past year and are slowing fading out to High waisted "mom jeans" as seen on Misha.
Everything old is new again and FUGLY.

i had the jeans and the jacket as well. mine had homemade holes in them, mostly from the grip tape on my skateboard rubbing on the pocket edges when i carried it and the knees were cut up from... falling a lot.

i dont think id wear them a second time around tho.

I have never understood the fashion behind ripped jeans or worn looking jeans. If I buy some jeans, they can have some subtle coloring/wear or whatever and I don't care, but I'm not sure I understanding spending extra money for it.

WTF does that mean?

And OP, yes, I had a ton of those jeans back in the day.

pinning your pants so they were tight around the lower part of your legs. i did this so i could put my 20" engineer boots over them, made them look a lot cleaner, no bulges at the boot tops. "new wave" kids at my school (grad 87) did this with safety pins down the sides of their pants.

yeah.. I agree..

if you want holes in them.. buy a normal priced pair.. hang them on the closeline and spray a round of buckshot in them
