That was great. Totally 90's haha. Got to like that classic "VHS Jingle" music. So nostalgic. I grew up mostly with win98, but I had used 95 quite a lot (anyone remember Chip's Challenge and other games in there? Think that was part of "Plus") and win3.1 was really the first OS I used. Ahh good ol days. But can't forget the bad. Windows was so unstable back then compared to now. BSODs, freezing, having to CTRL+ALT+DEL to force reboot etc. So yeah, it's nostalgic and I sorta miss it but would not want to go back. haha.

I like when they're talking ram and disk space. Now days windows requires almost 1000x what it did back then. Basically replace MB with GB lol.

I like how they had whole classrooms dedicated to teaching people how Windows 95 works and how different it was from DOS and 3.1. The biggest difference was mostly the Start button. If only Microsoft knew the shit storm that would ensue 17 years later when they tried to remove it. haha

TBH I still design my sites that way (well not frames, but tables yes), I find it's so much easier to get data to flow properly. I don't care what the anti table people say. :p I do use CSS though for the actual formatting of the tables. I see a lot of div/span based sites turn into a huge disaster with oddball screen sizes. There are ways to fix it but you end up needing to use tons of JS, how is that better? JS should not be relied on for layout.

Windows 95 was revolutionary compared to the previous version, Windows 3.1. It introduced 32-bit, preemptive multitasking, Direct X, start menu, and a slew of features that carry over into today's Windows 10.
