Blank screen when installing WinXP with RAID 0 Setup

I am trying to set up windows xp on my new WD raptors (RAID 0 array) and I keep getting a black screen after the first part of the windows xp install. My system specs are in my sig. Here's the details:

I set up the bios to boot CD, sata, hdd 0. When the screen says 'press any key to boot from CD' I press a key and the install begins. I press F6 when prompted and windows installs as usual until I get a screen where I select my sata raid drivers from the floppy disk (sil 3112). I select the partition and everything looks normal. The instal says that it is going to reboot and it does but after the 'press any key to boot from CD' the screen goes blank. Normally the windows install continues.

What is going on? I've tried this a couple times and nothing works. Your expertise would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Got any PCI cards installed? Long shot there. On an NF7-S, the SI controller shares its IRQ with whatever you put into PCI slots 1 and 5, so if you have stuff in those slots, try taking it out.

I setup the RAID 0 array when prompted during boot up. Windows recognized it properly as one large drive. I though xp should boot from the array like you said but I get a blank screen when the windows logo should appear.

I do not have any pci cards in the computer.

I've used the RAID 0 when booting off another drive and it works just fine. Also, I've installed windows to ONE of the raptors (no RAID) and that works fine.

Thanks for the help guys! Hopefully I'll get this figured out soon.
