Taiyo Yuden makes an inkjet printable DVD, but I doubt you'll want to fork over the money for them.

I don't need to burn that much. I'm still on a spindle of 700MB generic CDRs (100 pack) I bought 2 years ago. I bought a DVD burner and am still on my 1st 25-DVDR pack.

I used to use primarily RITEK, but they seem to be going downhill, with spotty batches here and there. I got about 6 dvd-r's from my last order left. After that, it'll be primarily TY's for me. Prices have gone down to where I think TY's are where RITEK discs used to cost.

Same here... now where can I buy TY DVD-R's? Shop4Tech has them, but it seems the smallest lot they have is 100 discs. I don't want to buy that many. 25-50 is what I would want.

What's the difference between Taiyo Yuden Mfrg Code: TYDVDRTPP at $1.39 each, and Taiyo Yuden Code: 1730-50 at $0.70 each?

Use any place where you can be sure of the discs you're getting. Since so many DVD burners are so picky about the type of media they'll accept, you need to be sure that you're getting Ritek G04 and not G05, or vice versa. I've used CdrdvdrMedia.com successfully.
