Typically an underling will be in charge until a permanent person is found. I think you will find that most companies and Federal departments work in this manner.

[CDC Director Thomas] Frieden said the problem is the vaccine production technology, which he called "antiquated ... but tried and true" in terms of its safety.

And I suppose if a big earthquake hit California, Obama will be to blame for that, too.

There was demonstrable incompetency on the part of FEMA in its response to Katrina. There's absolutely no evidence that the slowness of H1N1 vaccine production has anything to do with the Obama Administration.

In fact, the timeline from identifying the need for a vaccine, ordering that a vaccine be created, development and testing of the vaccine, and production of the vaccine has been remarkably fast.

I even heard Bush used his weather controlling powers to create the hurricane because "George Bush hates black people"
