Bah, I don't see how a Surgeon General has anything to do with the H1N1 vaccine. Katheren Sebeluis (sp?) is in charge of that.

Anyhoo, seems the FDA (IIRC) is what's playing a big role in this as they won't allow newer vaccine production methods, so we're stuck with the decades old "egg" method.

[CDC Director Thomas] Frieden said the problem is the vaccine production technology, which he called "antiquated ... but tried and true" in terms of its safety.

And I suppose if a big earthquake hit California, Obama will be to blame for that, too.

So did I piss in your oats because I happen to work in a field that involves vaccines and knowing this stuff is just part of it, or was it because I assumed you made an honest error, and rather than calling you a troll, tried to take the edge off of the name calling?
