I never made reservations but I didn't go on the weekends.

Were you able to get into the Tents ok? It will be just 3 of us, and looking at some places they only take reservations for 6 or more. We're going to be arriving Saturday the day it starts, but probably not try and venture into the tents that day, but will on Sunday-Thursday.

Now if he would only stay and have his intraweb connection disconnected...

I'm sure a few us could even chip in for the ticket...

the hofbrau tent is primarily americans and ukers. went last year, you'll have a good time. don't try to talk to the bouncers. i was ejected for no apparent reason because of this. i just said something like 'excuse me i'd like to get by' at the door in english and broken deutsch. :shrug it was time to leave anyways

If you're going to actually make an attempt to travel outside of those cozy US borders, at least attempt to do it someplace that isn't jampacked with the same type of mouth-breathing Americans most would hope to avoid when in Europe.

Go to one of the wine harvests in Italy. same time frame, less shitty.

you are a moron. Americans at the fest are a very slim minority and a lot more so now due to how few Americans are stationed in Germany.
