No, I'm asking because I've got nothing better to do. Out of the thousands of questions one could ask out of boredom, that one seemed like it could have the best prospects. 🙄

There used to be a list of permanently banned usernames on the fusetalk forums. I'm not aware that there is a list that can be viewed by regular posters.

Yeh, the banned usernames were of people who were banned. Like LoKe for example, I remember seeing him on the list.

Is a viewable banlog a possibility here do you know? It would save the questions like asked in this thread from having to be asked.
 
Be aware that anytime you get a vacation now, it will say "Banned" under your name, even if the vacation is for one day. As long as the vacation lasts, that's how long it will say banned.

edit: Oh, if I recall, the list that was posted earlier was only of members who had been permabanned and it was from 2007.

edit 2: The number of permabanned members since the switch is more than 1,000 thanks to spammers. I doubt you want to see a list of those.

It sould be nice to have a thread for users vacationed/banned saying so and a high level reason at least for why - impersonation, or which rule was violated.

The user themselves are notified for the reason.

Sometime, the Moderator will place a comment in the post that was the final straw.
However, such a post may be like an iceberg - what happens underneath the surface is much larger than what is visible.

Mods. After you make that list, please make a list of you birth dates and social security numbers. And post pics of your sisters and moms.
