Well maybe Blago will be on some talk show when the news comes in that he has been removed from office, and as such is no longer Governor of Illinois.

The trial in the Senate may go on for two weeks or may end in just a few days because the legislators feel disrespected by Blago.

But in terms of properly defending himself, Blago has no real protections of law, and when he is tried by the Feds later, he may beat the rap as he invokes those rights.

But many are speculating that is the Blago ploy all along, he knows removal from office is inevitable, and is taking aim at the coming Federal criminal trial.

Haha yeah, I'd much much more worried about the feds. He's toast in IL. Anyone voting to keep him in office is wrecking their political career.

he has already been offered a radio show on ABC, the only requirement is that he resign.

If Blago get convicted in Federal Court later, they will not let him run a radio talk show from the slammer. G. Gordon Liddy made it work, but only after he did his time.

Ollie North got a similar radio reward, but I think he beat the rap thanks to Fawn.

The good news is, when the Illinois Senate is done with him, he won't be participating in their state government, either.

By the time Fitzgerald is through with him, I don't know whether he'll have the option of whether to participate in activities for the general prison population.

You highlighted the wrong part. How do you propose to make impeachment fair? The jury and judge is made up of partisan politicians who's conviction is final. Again impeachment was meant to be quick process.
You're wrong again. This isn't just something Blago made up. You need to read THIS.

The fairness of the process is still very much in question, as it should be.

No, if you fuck up at your job and your boss calls you in to discuss firing you, you are in no position to argue fairness.

In a new development, various FBI testimony have smoked out the Blago hand publicity tour, and now Blago wants to make his own closing statements in the Illinois Senate without subjecting himself to either direct testimony or cross examination.

But the Illinois Senate vote will likely come tomorrow, either way.

Hopefully, at least IMHO, we can start talking about ex-governor Blagoevich and end the charade by this time tomorrow.

I don't see a difference between most politicians and Blagojevich, especially the Dems.
