Blagh.. new hard drive troubles..

Well let me first say this is my first time using Norton ghost...

I used to have a 6.4 and 20 gig drives, and recently I picked up a new 45 gig IBM. I didn't want to have to reinstall windows, which was working perfectly on the 6.4 gig, so I used ghost to copy the entire thing to the 45 gig. It all seems to work, however windows is only detecting 10 gigs worth... is there a setting somewhere that I've missed? Anyone have any ideas? Kinda annoying to lose 35 gigs' worth of space.. Thanks in advance for any help.

What board (and BIOS version) are you running your 45G drive on? Many boards, especially w/ early BIOS revisions, had trouble w/ drives >30G. However, many of those same boards have updated BIOS flashes to address and fix this. Let us know and I'm sure someone on this board can guide you to a solution.

MSI Pro2-A.. the boot up BIOS reports it as the right size, but Windows doesn't.

Something else I just noticed.. even Ghost, when run in windows, reports it as normal size.
