Blade the Vampire Slayer?

I just heard that the sequel to Buffy will be Blade. Haven't heard if Wesly Snipes will play Blade.
Anyone know if its true?

"Sequel" as in "done by people with no connection to Mutant Enemy / Joss Wheedon" ?

Wheedon's given up on doing TV shows last I'd read, after Fox trashed Firefly.

Sequel as in a TV series? Thought Angels was kind of the seuql to Buffy. Maybe jsut a spin-off and not relaly a sequel.

And I"m sure Wesley Snipes won't do a TV series...
