Meh. While I appreciate the massive effort stuff like that took versus modern processes, I don't get why people seem to sometimes think that someone is a wizard just because they are skilled at doing something in a crude way.

While some may say that men like that were amazingly gifted, I would look at the flipside: if you've spent many years doing work like that and AREN'T good at it, you're probably retarded.
