Well, the pics speak for themselves. The 9800 GX2 has the nice lighting, the 5770 doesn't. The sparce in-game settings are the same and I don't think any CCC setting would fix this.

Just odd, this is the only lighting issue I've seen between the two cards in this game; there may be more but this one was very obvious. Granted I've only played past the 1st "level", but this shot is the very start of the game so it likely persists throughout.

I would check for more differences, but the GX2 is on the operating table.

Anyone know what the deal is?

Driver issue, try the latest cat 10.5's and if that doesn't work try some previous versions. Make sure game is patched and up to date aswell. You probably already knew that but it's worth saying- issues like this are usually fixed in the drivers. Turn off any lighting techniques in the in game options and see if it goes back to normal.

It's only got Resoluion, AA, AF, and Dynamic Shadows as options. Turning DS OFF actually fixed the beginning part inside the truck, but once you step outside everything looks like crap. Must be a driver issue. Game is patched as well.

Course I'm not surprised, it's a poorly rated game on the consoles and an even poorer console port. AA doesn't even work. If you select it, the choice disappears, then if you hit accept the game just minimizes to the desktop and stop responding.

ATI probably didn't even bother with this one. I'll try 10.5. Not holding my breath though.
