I know that for most people this isnt an issue but the fact that BB can place sms texts in queue until i get service again was what made me switch back.
I had very bad service where i live (in a valley) and my phone just gets enough service where if i leave it in a certain spot i can receive texts and my phone will at least ring (i call them from my house phone after they call me)
The problem was that though i receive the texts as soon as i touch the phone i lose service. with the BB i just text and then put the phone back and once it gets service it would send. With the iphone i would have to text them, try to send it a few times, put it in the spot, let it sit for a minute, pick it up quick and resend, then put it back before i lose service and hope it sends. HUGE PITA!!!!!
Not to mention just on normal occasions when im out ill text someone when i seem to have good service. Ill check my phone 10 mins later to see if that person texted me back only to find out my message had the friggin (!) to the right of it and never sent.
Does this piss anyone else off? It seems like such an easy thing they can fix. I do miss apps and web browsing but not having to deal with that is definitley worth it. Not to mention the blackberry gets much better service. (BB curve)
