Blackberry Syncing & Faxing scanned documents

I have many contacts on a Blackberry that I would like transfered over into my Mac. What program do other Blackberry and mac users recommend? I just want to make sure the contacts on the Blackberry are moved over in the initial Sync and not deleted to mimic my current bare list in the Address Book. As always, free software is preferred 🙂

Also, I have a flatbed scanner and want to avoid buying a standalone scanner. What software can I use to fax a scanned document over the internet? Is a fax modem absolutely necessary?

Thanks!

PocketMac is free and officially endorsed by RIM, but it's not UB so it runs pretty horribly. It is free though 🙂

Free is good, so I'll definitely give it a shot.

As far as the faxing is concerned - could I just use the blackberry as the fax modem?

Will selecting "two-way sync" assure that my BB contacts will be transfered into the Address Book and those in the AB will be transferred into the BB? That way both the BB and AB will include eachother's contacts?
