Sorry, I know this is off-off-topic, but I got no responses in Tech Support section.

If anyone has one can you tell me if/how one can forward a phone number to it, to act as a pager?

Yeah, I figured since you can get email on them (I have a two-way currently) you can also have a number (cell, work, etc) forwarded to the blackberry to page you when you get a voice mail. Maybe I'm way off base.

They're restricted to an email account, though. It's not like a cell phone.
 
Get a T-Mobile Sidekick!

Depending on your business/social needs, the majority of people would find having a T-mobile Sidekick meets most of their needs.
 
I saw these at Novell Brainshare last week. They're pretty nice little devices and a lot of companies are setting them up to synchronize with Email systems.

john these are used to receive email, compose and send out email, and synchronize with say MS Outlook.

I don't recall any model having this ability, but one 6? month old model is both a cell phone and a blackberry unit.
