Blackberry Messenger, letters next to the check marks

I know D = delivered and that R is apparently read, but I am 99% sure I am seeing an "A" and not an R for a message I sent. What does this mean?

Wow. I don't know. Not seen it myself. Vould be related to the availbility settings now in BM, such as on the phone or listening to music.

It's an "R".
Some devices make it look like an "A".
