Thinking about getting a BB 8820 since it will be only half as old as my current unit and no good prospects on the horizon for a no camera equipped model in the future. Like the wifi as I have a hotspot in the house. Couple questions though for anyone knowledgeable about this model: How good is the gps as a nav unit? With the added storage space in this model, can you finally download files from the web/email onto the unit's storage space? (and vice versa)
 
Yea I haven't seen GSM versions of the Blackberry's with no camera. I know that CDMA Verizon/Sprint have a camera and no camera version on the BB Tour and others. Honestly though that's an old phone. Any reason why you need to stay with your current provider?
 
Because I'm with tmobile, have fine connectivity where I live and get most calls free since many of them also have tmobile. Besides, the plan I'm on has been long since discontinued and is low $$$ for me.
