T-Mobile Corporate is having another great deal but you must go through an Account Executive to get it. Several people on this forum have already used my friend Shannon from T-Mobile Corporate and have written some great reviews (check the rest of this thread).

These must all be new activations (Voice and Data).

BlackBerry 7105t: $99.99 after $100.00 mail in rebate

BlackBerry 7290: $99.99 no mail in rebate required

Call Shannon today at 214-523-4281 (email is shannon.luther@t-mobile.com)

Deal extended through January

This deal however is only for US residents and you must activate a brand new line, or add a line to an existing account.

If I were you I'd remove the phone number from the post unless you want your friend bombarded with phone calls. Not a bad deal though. :)

500 per activation? I don't think any cell phone service could stay in business by paying their reps that much? That means that if she got 100 activations in a month that she would get 50 G's. I know for a fact that she doesn't make that kinda cash.

Why do you want to complicate things with twisted thinking? Just decide if this is a good deal for you.

Naw.. she mostlikely doesn't make that much. she probably doens't get that big a commission. But retail does - for indirect dealers like Car Toys/ Best buy - they get between $300-$500 an activation (depending on 1yr - 2yr contract). that's usually why indirect retail sales can give better deals because they make alot more on an activation.

it cost cell phone company $500 (estimated average) to obtain customer. so they don't mind paying cartoys, bestbuy $400 to do the work for them.

i have worked for cell phone company for 7 years...;)

T-mobile reps do get a commision for new contracts, but not renewals. As of April, they will get one for renewals as well.

Yeah she gets a commission but like BaNzaiDags said, reps don't get nearly as much as a retailer, and that is exactly why this is so much cheaper than going through a retail outlet. Bottom line, this is a hot deal.

Pretty hot deal...um...I might need pics though before I call

[Edit] Damn. Didn't see that I'd need a contract. I'm latched to Cingular for the time being :(

Thanks for sharing OP!

I called Shannon up and she offered me the 7100 for $149 (it's $99 only for new contracts) but i didn't have to extend my contract one bit.

:)

Just shot off an email to Shannon to see if she can hook me up for the $149 for existing customers myself. Been wanting a Blackberry for a while now.

Just got off the phone with Shannon. Very friendly, very helpful. Got the 7100t for $150 and added the unlimited data plan to my existing family line for $19.99. Very painless 5 minute phone call. Shannon is very much on top of her game!

No kidding, she's one of the best CS reps i've talked to... ever! (that's not even an exaggeration).

She explained everything in so much detail, she even answered questions that i didn't even think about.

My 7100 will be arriving today, i'll post some pics as soon as i get a chance.

:)

She is very good. Although, i'm surprised that more people haven't jumped on this deal.. it's hot and ends in like a week.

I spoke with her earlier today. Very nice to deal with. My new Blackberry will be here tomorrow! Thanks Shannon! She filled out all the forms for me and then just shipped them to me via email and I replied APPROVED and it was done.

FYI- you can get next day shipping instead of the FREE 2-day shipping if you want to pay an extra $15. That is what I did so I'd have it by this weekend.

This is a VERY good deal even if you are a T-mobile customer already. This promo ends soon so take advantage of it while you can!

I agree, I signed up with her yesterday... She seemed very nice on the phone and it was quick and painless! Goodbye Sprint! (Goodbye old as hell Kyocera 6035 too)
