Thinking about buying this phone tomorrow for $169 w/1yr contract through tmobile. Does anyone have any experience with this phone? How functional and practical is that keyboard? It doesnt look very user friendly.

LOVE IT! Very easy to type, rarely gets the words wrong, and 95% of the time it's my fault for hitting the wrong key.

I have a bunch of clients with it, they like it. My boss had it and went back to his 6230, couldn't stand the predictive text.

You can turn that off.

But then you have to tap each key repeatedly to get to the letter you want.
