Blackberry 7100

Someone in our offices last week had one. It's pretty darn slick. Several of our sales team members were asking to see it and play with it. The guy was demo'ing some new software for sale and I think he had more interest in his new Blackberry. "Can I have this?" asked one guy. "Sign a contract for this software and you can keep the Blackberry."

Do you think it can fit in a pants pocket well like other cell phones? How big did it seem?

It really wasn't all that big. The pictures on the website are fairly accurate. It's a bit larger than most cell phones today but not by much. I have a Kyocera palm phone and the BB was smaller than it. I don't think you'd have a problem carrying it around less you like tight jeans. Khakis or slacks would probably be no problem.

is it the new smaller one? works on tmobile? if so mu sister has it and its pretty damn small, however she keeps it in a purse no idea about how well it fits in a pocket

I just checked it out at the t-mobile store. It's damn small considering what it is. The keyboard needs some time to get used to because it's so different from regular keypads on phones, but it's designed like a normal keyboard. QW are on the top left for instance. So really, just a couple hours of practice and you'll be rolling along. I think I'm going to get it.

My boss has one. KB takes a lot of getting used to, but he's just as fast on it as I am with my 7230. I love the screen on it, beautiful.

The Treo sucks ass for email.
I'm LMAO at all those suckers who were using the craptacular Visto for their Treos now that it has gone under. I remember pestering the hell out of them for a demo of their Enterprise solution for several months straight...not a peep out of them in response. You know why? Because it never freaking existed! hahaha
Treos will be more worthwhile once Blackberry starts releasing client apps for them, but they'll get crushed once the Blackberry client for Windows Mobile phones comes out...that will own everything.

Guys, one more thing, I also have heard there are problems w. T-Mobile, BlackBerry and Port 80. Can anyone clarify if this is still an issue? Thanks.
