Black "Warning" window on bootup

For the past couple weeks, about once every 5-10 times I log in, I have this warning message show up. It sits on top of all windows that I've tried, except for Task Manager. (I haven't tried to see if it sits on top of games)

If I click anywhere in the window, it fades out.

My setup:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Asus Z68 mobo
AMD 6790 GPU

Any ideas? If you need more information, please let me know.

If that was AI II it would popup from the taskbar with a message related to the problem. I think you have an infection and suggest you run a thorough malware/virus scan asap.

Any idea what that would be more specifically?

It just looked to me like the warnings I used to get from AI Suite II when a sensor picked up a reading outside its predetermined "safe" limits. Without actual text in the message, it's hard to be sure.

I ended up uninstalling AI Suite II (using CPUID HW Monitor now) because it was throwing too many false positives; they always appeared in the lower right corner of the display, just above the tray -- if you have this installed, you might want to try temporarily uninstalling it also, just to see if the messages stop appearing. Otherwise, Bubbaleone is probably correct that it's something else entirely.

stahlhart, I took your advice and uninstalled AI Suite II; it's been over a week without any of those warnings. That looks to be the culprit.

Thanks!
