Black vs. Silver Razr

I realize they have the same feature set, but is there something about the finish that makes one superior to the other. Is the black one prone to scratches...and how bad does it look if it is when it has gotten scratched up a bit?

I have been leaning toward the black one...but I'm not sure which one will stay "new" longest as I expect to keep this phone for the complete 2 year contrac period.

Care to elaborate. If they spent a bunch of $...then I'd understand. I'm getting it for free...so unless it is really horrible (has to be better than my current phone), I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Not to mention the packaging is perfect for me. Large so it fits in my hands...but thin so it fits in my pocket.

Neither. Yes it's cool but are you buying a phone so that you look cool or buying a phone so you can make a receive phone calls?

Are you just being a troll because you have nothing better to do? As I've said, the packaging fits me perfectly (I have big hands and want something that fits in the pocket like a wallet). As far as phone calls go...I've read reviews where they have said the reception is fantastic.

I'm sorry I'm not as cool as you by shunning all "hip" products.

For something you fondle on daily basis, ie, cell phone, iPod, go w/ the light color. Dark color gadgets will accentuate the scratches and smudges like nobody's business.

Right. But the fact is, if you go to places like howardforums.com and look at a couple threads, you'll see that the Razr is actually a well respected phone.

It has great reception, good enough battery life, but basic features while fitting in your pants pocket like no other.

I've had both (originally had a silver, my neighbor bought a black, decided she liked the silver better, so we switched), and overall I think the black looks cooler.
